Trust Accounts Administrator

About the Role:

Located in Auckland’s CBD with recently renovated offices, this long standing full service law firm has a proven history of delivering expert legal advice. Based in a well established finance team, you will be working with both the general ledger and the trust account. .  In this role, you will be collaborating and providing support to both external and internal stakeholders, legal secretaries and to the firms suppliers.

On a day to day you will be responsible for:
  • Reconciling incoming Trust transactions on a daily basis
  • Assisting the Accounts Payable and Receivable teams with any data entry requirements
  • Developing and collating data for financial reports as required 
  • Reconciliation of bank statements
About You:
  • 1+ years experience within a law firm either as a junior administrator or receptionist where you have assisted the Trust Accountant or Practice Manager in general accounting duties
  • Able to work collaboratively and happy to go above and beyond for your team members
  • Previous accounts payable and receivable experience would be advantageous
  • Confident user of Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent written and verbal English and communication skills
  • Being methodical, systematic, and having great attention to detail will allow you to transition into this role with ease
