About the Opportunity

Our client is a growing financial services organisation, looking to hire a senior in-house lawyer to take ownership of corporate legal work within the business. You'll be working with the support of a Head of Legal and in a small but close-knit team of in-house lawyers. Day to day work could includes contract reviews and negotiations, corporate support on M&A transactions, advising on shareholder agreements and arrangements, partnership agreements, corporate governance and company secretarial work. 

The team culture is vibrant, down to earth and the role would expose you to working alongside the C-suite executive leadership team to provide legally sound and commercially pragmatic advice. You'd have the ability to work across various business units in the organisation, as well as external lawyers, so the ability to build strong and effective relationships is key. 

About You
  
You will be someone with: 

• 7+ years PQE in corporate and commercial legal work with ideally some in-house experience - experience in the financial services or insurance sector would be a bonus
• Commercial nous and ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
• The ability to problem solve and take initiative

Ideally the role is full time, but for those more experienced, part time can be considered as well.
