About the opportunity
As a senior member of the team, with strong legal support available to assist you, this is an opportunity where you can truly thrive. You'll be part of a collegial team involved in a range of work, including:

• Commercial Property acquisitions and disposals
• Residential and commercial property developments
• Design-build lease transactions
• Commercial lease drafting and negotiations for office, retail and industrial leasing
• Property financing / refinancing as well as some financial services advisory work
• Broader commercial contracting work including shareholder agreements, company structuring maters, services and supply agreements (skills in this area aren't a must but a bonus

The firm promotes a genuine work and life balance, so long hours and overtime aren't expected. The firm has modern systems and a strong infrastructure in place to enable lawyers to work effectively. A partnership pathway is possible for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8-10+ years PQE with solid  commercial property experience, gained in reputable firms (and/or with in-house legal experience)
• Ability to mentor juniors and with leadership skills
• Strong client management and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
