As a Senior Commercial Lawyer you will handle a variety of engaging and challenging matters, such as:

• Assisting with business sales and acquisitions of both larger and smaller scale
• Advising on corporate structuring and restructuring, including preparing shareholders’ agreements
• Providing guidance on corporate governance and compliance
• PPSRs and GSAs
• Preparing and advising on commercial leases for landlords and tenants
• Assisting with the formation and administration of limited partnerships
• Advising on intellectual property protection
• Advising on a range of contracts from franchise agreements, supply and distribution agreements and licensing arrangements

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be a NZ Qualified lawyer with 7+ years of experience in an equally reputable firm. This role is well-suited for someone who is:

• Returning from overseas
• Transitioning back into practice from an in-house role
• Seeking a role closer to home in the Central, South or East Auckland region 
• Or returning to work after a career break with drive to now build towards a leadership position
