The opportunity:

Our client is a longstanding Central Auckland practice (close to public transport routes) that is looking to hire an ambitious junior in the team. The work will have a property and commercial law focus - both transactional and advisory work involved. The firm's culture is supportive, social and very much team based. 

Day to day you will be involved in business transactions, limited partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, share transfer transactions, commercial leasing arrangements, residential and commercial.

The firm has a good reputation in the market for providing high-quality legal services to property developers, charitable trusts, commercial sector clients and every day individuals. With more than enough legal support, good systems in place and approachable partners, you’ll be well-placed to develop your legal skills in a reputable firm. 

You will be someone that has:  

• Completed your LLB already, with decent grades in NZ;
• Completed your Professional Legal Studies and ideally already admitted to the bar;
• Keen to learn and someone that has strong interpersonal skills; and
• Passionate about further developing a career in the property and commercial law field and learning from experts.

Note: those that have yet to complete their LLB will not be suitable for this role. You must be a NZ citizen to apply.
