Our client is part of a specialist litigation team who is looking for a solicitor with civil or commercial litigation experience to join their team. Specialising in complex disputes, this firm covers a wide variety of legal matters pertaining to commercial, construction, separations, employment, public regulatory work, insolvency and private wealth issues.


The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a tight-knit team with direct access to Partners who are well-known and well regarded in the litigation space in Christchurch. You will get hands-on experience with regular court attendance.


About You
We are seeking a lawyer with 3+ years experience (there is scope here for an intermediate level solicitor up to a Senior Associate to fit within the current team) and experience working in civil or commercial litigation. You'll have a genuine interest in litigation, have strong verbal and written communication skills and be a self-starter.
