You will be supporting a team of 3 authors in this dedicated private client team. This is a fast-paced, fun, and vibrant team. Your main duties will be:
- Drafting, formatting, and editing legal documents, as well as completing dictation as required
- Liaising with clients on general inquiries as well as organising client meetings and appointments
- Opening, managing, and closing client files as well as file and document management
- Liaising with banks, councils, lawyers, accountants, and insurance companies
- Diary and email management, organising seminars and other industry-related events
- Month-end billing for all authors, you will be supported by the admin team as well
- Work with LINZ, ADSL and completing any relevant searches
- General office administration support for colleagues as required
- 4+ years Legal Secretary with previous trusts, wills, and estates essential
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Office
- Process driven, able to work methodically, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- A clear communicator who is able to build rapport with ease
- A salary of $60,000 - $75,000 + KiwiSaver based on experience
