The Role:
This role supports the wider commercial and property teams and therefore you will be working and taking instruction from authors across the firm. You will; also have access to a shared secretary to assist you with end of month billing and diary and email requirements. You will be able to align yourself with a high performing and driven team. This is a fast paced and dynamic firm where you will be working with approximately residential and commercial clients on residential conveyancing matters, leasing, subdivisions and settlements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to:
- Maintain client relationships and act on instructions throughout the property transaction relating to buying, selling and developing property
- Manage property files for all property transactions from pre-contract to post-settlement inclusive of subdivision files
- Oversee estate, trust estate planning files
- Work towards and adhere to key performance and budgets around billable hours
- Assist and support the Directors and other solicitors as and when required
About You:
- 1+ years’ experience as a registered Legal Executive
- Confident in residential conveyancing matters and able to work unassisted on mum and dad based transactions
- People focused, able to work in a cohesive and collaborative environment, keen to exceed expectations

- $80,000 - $100,000 per annum + KiwiSaver experience
- Work/life balance - 2 days WFH and flexible hours around commute are considered
- This is a 9 month maternity leave contract, full time role. This role may be extended.
