Working within a mid-sized general practice. This firm is able to boast long tenure ships in their support teams due to the ongoing support and recognition they are offered throughout the firm.
About the Role:
You will be supporting a team of 5 authors in this dedicated Trust and Estates team. This is a fast-paced, fun, and vibrant office environment and this role will see you juggling multiple conflicting deadlines at any one time. This is a role that requires someone who is able to use their initiative and take ownership of the role.

You will be supporting a team of 5 authors in this dedicated Trust and Estates team. This is a fast-paced, fun, and vibrant office environment and this role will see you juggling multiple conflicting deadlines at any one time. This is a role that requires someone who is able to use their initiative and take ownership of the role.
Your main duties will be:
- Drafting and preparing Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPA), and trust documents, assisting with estate administration, including probate and letters of administration applications as well as general client correspondence
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and external parties such as banks and the Public Trust
- Managing trust compliance tasks including IRD registrations, gifting schedules, and trust minutes
- Preparing documentation for the establishment, variation, and resettlement of trusts
- Maintaining and updating client records and trust databases as well as general admin related tasks
- Diary management and scheduling client meetings for lawyers as well as overseeing end of month billing and drafting narrations
- Managing file openings, AML/CFT compliance, and client onboarding procedures
- 4+ years Legal Secretary with previous trusts, wills, and estates essential
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Office, and legal practice management systems
- Process driven, able to work methodically, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- A clear communicator who is able to build rapport with ease
- A salary of high $70's to mid $80's including KiwiSaver on offer dependent on experience

- This is an onsite Monday to Friday role, however there is availability to work from home as required.
