About the role
This role requires you to be a specialist in trusts, estates and/or wealth, asset and inheritance planning work or a general practice lawyer that has done a good amount of this work over the years and is an area you perhaps would now like to specialise in. If you're a senior lawyer then you'll be able to work part-time, 4 days per week or at reduced hours.
Part of this role involves dealing with the changes to the Trusts Act 2019, amending trust deeds, working on structures / restructures and advising on trust aspects of relationship property and property matters.
This role requires you to be a specialist in trusts, estates and/or wealth, asset and inheritance planning work or a general practice lawyer that has done a good amount of this work over the years and is an area you perhaps would now like to specialise in. About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- 4+ years' solid legal experience with a decent amount of trusts, and/or private client experience;
- An ability to communicate well and build rapport with a range of private clients from different backgrounds and ages;
- Sound drafting skills and the ability to provide advice in a clear and concise manner; and
- Have a strategic and pragmatic outlook with a natural interest in solving problems by offering different points of view.
