Job description
This specialist commercial property firm based on the fringe of the CBD boast a welcoming boutique style office environment surrounded by cafes and restaurants in vast open spaces. Due to an internal promotion they are now seeking a receptionist to join the team to support the Practice Manager and the wider team of Partners, Senior Associates, Solicitors and Legal Executives in the day to day running of the firm.
Based at the reception desk your day to day will be varied and busy. From meeting and greeting clients to assisting with legal documentation and contacting clients you will be the central point of contact for the firm. You will be responsible for:

Based at the reception desk your day to day will be varied and busy. From meeting and greeting clients to assisting with legal documentation and contacting clients you will be the central point of contact for the firm. You will be responsible for:
- Front of house duties such as welcoming clients, organising meeting rooms and answering incoming client calls
- Overseeing the operational tasks of the office, including stationery, kitchen and courier deliveries as well as assisting with staff events and filing of legal documents
- Opening and closing client files, filing of deeds as well as preparing engagement letters for clients
- Assist the team with billing and AML compliance, completing PPSR searches as well as booking any travel arrangements as required by the team
- Prepare and collate end of month reporting, settlement statements and any other adhoc legal administration as required by the team
About You:
- Minimum 1+ years as a receptionist keen to develop their career, ideally you will have previous law firm experience but this is not essential
- A proactive approach, keen to exceed expectations and client focused;
- Able to learn quickly, with good I.T. systems skills - having experience in running files from start to finish will stand you in good stead in this role

- $55,000 - $65,000 + Kiwisaver (based on experience)
- This is a full time role, Monday to Friday based in the office
