Job description

About the opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to do a mix of civil, commercial and criminal litigation work as part of a well-regarded litigation and dispute resolution team. Our client has a diverse practice that includes property and business related disputes, construction litigation, insolvency, regulatory disputes, fraud, drug-related trials and other civil disputes before the District Court and High Court. This is a role where there will be mentorship to develop your skills further, but work in a flat structured team doing hands on work at the same time so that you can have real involvement in the files you're a part of. The role would be weighted towards civil litigation but there is the opportunity to do some criminal law work too.

About you
  • 2+ years PQE with experience in sound legal research, drafting and analytical skills (those with slightly less experience may be considered);
  • A working knowledge of civil procedure;
  • An interest in furthering your litigation career and doing a varied mix of disputes work.
This is a unique role that doesn't come by every day. You may be a general civil litigation lawyer interested in some criminal and court work experience. Likewise, you may be keen to move into a bit more of a barristerial style environment for hands on exposure and real responsibility. Whichever the case, enquire now to find out more.
