Job description

Due to growth and increased demand, a unique opportunity has arisen for an intermediate or senior Legal Executive to work across a highly regarded Partner, Solicitors, and two Legal Executives who service high net worth individuals with property transactions, developments, subdivisions, trusts, and financing matters. Day-to-day, you'll be involved in residential and commercial property transactions, commercial leasing, and development projects. You don't need skills in all these areas but a background with a core property focus is essential.

Working within this full-service firm, there will be no barriers to your own career advancement within the team. You will be a part of a collaborative and tight-knit team that works together on achieving client expectations, as well as have access to one on one partner training and mentoring. If you're looking for a role that can offer greater client contact and an ability to work with a reasonable level of autonomy, then this could be the position for you. On a day to day you will oversee:
  • Maintain client relationships and act on instructions throughout the property transaction relating to buying, selling and developing property
  • Facilitate all property transactions from pre-contract to post-settlement phases inclusive of subdivision files
  • Assist with trust & estate planning files
  • Work towards and adhere to key performance and budgets around billable hours
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Minimum 2/3+ years' legal executive experience in a well-regarded legal team in private practice;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build a rapport with clients of various backgrounds; and
  • Sound drafting skills and the ability to provide advice in a clear and concise manner.
If you are currently in general practice and would like to hone your property skills in a team that offers mentorship and a pathway for progression, or you'd like to be exposed to more complicated property transactions, then enquire now.
