This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded city practice with a long standing reputation for offering their clients pragmatic and top market level advice. Based in the heart of the city, they have modern operating systems and take a strong interest in the career development of their staff.
The Opportunity:
Due to consistently busy workflows they now have the opportunity for a Lawyer with at least 3 years experience in corporate and commercial law work to join its high performing team.
In this role, you'll support a couple of Corporate partners in a range of work - corporate advisory matters, M&A deals, joint ventures, investments, seed funding, corporate financing, capital raising and general commercial contract drafting and negotiations. The clientele is a mix of international businesses, listed companies, growing businesses and entrepreneurial clients.
You'll have the right access to support when you need it in the form of one on one partner mentoring. Working in a flatter team structure will allow you to have greater involvement in the work and take the lead on some matters you do, with the chance to contribute value throughout a deal or matter.

About you:
- 3+ years solid Corporate and Commercial legal experience (If general commercial law work forms your overall experience alongside other areas such as commercial property or banking & finance work then we'd like to consider you for the role);
- Experience gained in a reputable firm or well-regarded corporate / commercial legal team where you've had some transactional experience; and
- Commercial nous and the ability to advise clients accordingly.
