Are you an experienced Senior Corporate & Commercial Lawyer seeking a place that offers career advancement but also part time hours? Our client offers an attractive part-time opportunity, amounting to approx 30 hours a week, ideally spread across 5 days, allowing for a fulfilling work-life balance.

Your client portfolio will encompass a broad spectrum, ranging from household names to international corporates across various sectors, including manufacturing and retail.

Responsibilities:
  • Work on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, franchising, joint ventures, partnership agreements, shareholding arrangements and commercial contract negotiations.
  • Take ownership of client relationships, providing high-quality advice and solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends relevant to business law.
Requirements: 
  • NZ Qualified and admitted lawyer with at least 5 years experience in Corporate Commercial Law. 
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
