The Opportunity
A modern CBD practice with a progressive operating style, known to invest in the upskilling and development of staff to best service their long standing portfolio of corporates, developers, investors and high net-worth clients. The property team has a strong set foundation of expertise and is now looking to hire a junior lawyer due to growth who can continue to drive the success of the team.
Day to day you will be involved in residential and commercial property transactions, subdivisions, commercial leasing, Maori Land and local government matters. The firm has a strong reputation in the market for providing high-quality legal services to property developers and commercial sector clients. With more than enough legal support and approachable partners, you’ll be well-placed to build your skills.
You will be someone that has:

You will be someone that has:
- 1+ years PQE solid experience in a general practice role with a property focus in your work or experience gained in a well-regarded commercial property team (NOTE: this is not a grad role / law clerk, as you must have some relevant experience);
- Good academics - at least a B average;
- Passionate about further developing a career in the property law field; and
- Demonstrating that you're a commercial thinker that can provide pragmatic advice.
