We’re looking for a highly organised and people focused Practice Manager to join this respected general practice firm. This pivotal role ensures the firm operates efficiently, allowing lawyers to focus on delivering exceptional service to their clients.

You’ll champion continuous improvement and lead with strong organisational, communication, and technology skills. A key focus will be supporting professional development, ensuring CPD hours are tracked, career goals are met, and the team is hitting their KPIs. You'll help create an environment where the team is set up for success and consistently achieving key milestones.

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a highly competent Practice Manager to manage its growing law firm, support the directors operationally, and mentor the administrative team. The Practice Manager is a positive presence within the firm and has a particular focus on people, culture, development, and success. 
  • Overseeing general HR and recruitment procedures as well as ensuring best practices are adhered too
  • Induction and onboarding as well as updating HR policies as needed
  • Championing, overseeing and assisting its IT, ensuring updates, and implementation with third party providers are seamless
  • Overseeing, tracking and collating time recording, billing and CPD reports for the Directors review 
  • Assisting in project implementation and execution such as and when required 
  • General office and property management related matters
About You:
  • Able to process end of month financial statements, therefore a solid understanding of accounting practices is required
  • Previous work experience as a Practice Manager/Office Manager within a law firm or professional services is essential for this role.
  • Operational understanding in practice management systems would be advantageous
  • Exposure to employee relations, recruitment, and HR initiatives
  • A leader that is able to mentor, build rapport, and trust within a widespread team environment with ease.
  • Committed to providing efficient and effective support to a high performing firm

  • This is a onsite role Monday to Friday, however flexibility is on offer around commute and family/life commitments
