About the Role:
Reporting to the firm's Practice Manager as well as liaising with Partners, HR, IT, and the Business Development Managers across the firm, you will be leading a small group of Legal Secretaries where you will be overseeing workflow management and bridging the gap between senior stakeholders and the support team. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Liaise with wider business services teams, conducting training and induction for new starts as well as overseeing workflow tasks are distributed to the appropriate team members/departments
- Leading, coaching, and developing a high performing support team through collaboration and engagement
- File management, creating and maintaining matters and files, you will be the first point of contact for all initial deed and record queries
- Document management, ensuring best practice and compliance of precedence and documentation is adhered
- Administration support, general PA duties, expense claims, client liaison, data entry, and file correspondence
- Prepare and organise events, CRM audits, presentation documentation and key client management in conjunction with Marketing, Business Development and Partners
About You:
- 4+ years working experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally with experience in multiple legal practice areas
- Self-motivated, organised, with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, a confident decision-maker that is solutions focused
- Professional, with a friendly manner, that is team-driven and keen to exceed expectations
- Able to lead, coach and develop a team of individuals
- Able to delegate effectively whilst supporting and encouraging others

- Salary of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus KiwiSaver experience dependent
