The Firm & Opportunity 

Join a well regarded city practice with a diverse clientele and team of highly skilled lawyers. They are now looking for an Employment Lawyer with at least 1 years solid experience gained in employment law (or ER/HR) based work who can assist on a broad range of matters. Mentored by partners and seniors that have a strong reputation both locally and internationally, the role will have a focus on dealing with a range of employment law matters and could suit someone coming from a general dispute resolution background also. 

You will have a good amount of involvement in matters involving personal grievances, policy advice, employment contracts, restructuring matters, health and safety and cases before mediation, the ERA and EC. There will be plenty of variety in the issues you'll deal with and the opportunity to take on greater file and client management responsibilities as you progress. 

About you: 
  • At least 1 years experience working as a law clerk or Solicitor in a law firm environment, ideally with employment law and litigation based experience or exposure to these areas via an ER / HR background;
  • Must be available full time and be admitted to the bar (not a grad role)
  • A self starter with a passion for employment law work.
