Job description

The Opportunity:

A reputable full-service firm now has the opportunity for an intermediate-level Solicitor with at least 3 years of experience to grow their advocacy skills in a leading dispute resolution team. Modern systems, a well-supported friendly team, working with a highly regarded litigation partner, and competitive remuneration are all on the cards.

Working within a specialist litigation team environment, you will have access to high-quality dispute resolution matters with a construction focus but also be able to extend into broader litigation work. There will be plenty of variety in the issues you'll deal with, and you'll have the chance to be involved in more substantive drafting and advocacy work from the beginning with matters before adjudication, arbitration, and the High Court. You'll be working closely with partners and seniors with a strong local and international reputation.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with key team members, take charge of leading cases, and contribute significantly to the growth of junior solicitors in the team.

About You:
  • Experience:  3+ years of PQE experience.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrating excellent technical skills, particularly in litigation.
  • Litigation Experience: Some experience in litigation, with a preference for those with exposure to construction project disputes.
  • Collaborative Nature: Ability to work collaboratively with project partners for effective problem-solving.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills essential for building strong client and team relationships.
What's in it for You:
  • Competitive Remuneration: The firm offers a competitive compensation package.
  • Work/Life Balance: Their workplace culture prioritises and nurtures work/life balance.
  • Collaborative Environment: Our client fosters a collaborative, collegial, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Access to Quality Work: Be part of a team that consistently delivers high-quality work, providing you with valuable experience and opportunities for professional development.
You may either be in a generalist litigation role with an interest in construction or keen to build on your construction litigation skills while being exposed to general litigation work.
