The Firm:
A medium sized practice with a long standing reputation for offering their clients pragmatic and top market level advice. Based in the heart of the city, they have modern operating systems and take a strong interest in the career development of its staff. The team have regular social events and have a great sense of humour.
The Opportunity:
Due to consistently busy workflows they now have the opportunity for a Lawyer with at least 5 years experience in commercial legal work to join its friendly team.
In this role, you'll work collaboratively with several partners on corporate advisory matters, joint ventures, business transactions, commercial leasing, investments, financing arrangements, capital raising, IP/IT matters and general commercial contract drafting and negotiations. The clientele is a mix of multi-national businesses, investors, growing businesses (both local and international).
You'll have the right access to support when you need it in the form of one on one partner mentoring. You'll be able to take the lead on some matters you're comfortable with and have the chance to work closely with clients.

- 5+ years solid Corporate and Commercial legal experience (If property forms part of your experience then that is fine too);
- Experience gained in a reputable firm or well-regarded corporate / commercial legal team in-house; and
- Commercial nous and the ability to advise clients accordingly.
