The Firm & Opportunity 

Join a well regarded practice with a diverse clientele and team of highly skilled lawyers. They are now looking for a litigation Lawyer with around 2+ years solid experience gained in advocacy based work who can assist on a broad range of matters.

Mentored by partners and seniors that have a strong reputation in NZ, the role will have a focus on dealing with a mix of civil and commercial litigation matters including property disputes, contractual claims, shareholder disputes, insolvency, Fair Trading disputes, professional negligence, insurance and construction disputes. 

About you: 

• Around 2-6 experience gained within a reputable firm with some relevant litigation experience;
• An ability to build rapport with clients and cut through legal issues;
• Good communication and problem-solving skills; and
• B average or higher law grades. 

You may be in a general practice role, having gained some some exposure to litigation matters and be looking to level up on the quality of work that you do in this space or be working in a niche litigation role looking to get more variety to other general litigation matters where you can work under the mentorship of experienced lawyers within a reputable firm.
