The Role:

In this role, you will be supporting a team of 4 authors that specialise in commercial, civil, and family litigation. You will need to be agile and adaptable with your day as you will be working on multiple cases at any one time. As the support members are an integral part of this team you will be valued and recognised for your success and achievements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to:
  • Maintain client relationships by providing a high level of customer service (as you will be the first point of contact in initial queries)
  • Diary management for the authors in the team as needed
  • Document management, dictation as well as editing and formatting correspondence
  • Assisting with filing of documents in the family, district, and high court for hearings
  • Preparing court bundles, including electronic bundling  
  • Month-end billing, ensuring all billables are correct and accurate for invoicing
  • General administration, file, and client maintenance
About You:
  • This role would suit an intermediate/senior legal secretary 
  • Working knowledge in electronic bundling would be advantageous
  • Be confident in managing and running diary management for multiple authors
  • Proficient in Word and Excel, with an efficient typing speed for dictation
  • Team driven, keen to support and share knowledge, able to work in a cohesive and collaborative environment
