Based in the stunning Bay of Plenty this well established multi-faceted law firm offers a range of legal services to private clients and small-medium sized businesses. About the Role:

Reporting to the directors of the firm you will also be leading a team of three general accounts and administration employees. Working closely with the external accountant and delivering financial and management reporting as well as financial modeling you will be able to influence strong business decisions made on financial interpretations. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting
  • Overseeing general practice AP/AR function as well as monitoring and ensuring debtors are followed up, prepare and file PAYE and GST
  • Month-end management and financial reporting inclusive of cashflow in preparation for Directors and board meeting
  • Overseeing general HR and recruitment procedures as well as ensuring best practice is adhered too
  • Overseeing the firm's AML compliance, and any projects relating to software upgrades and change management
About You:
  • Previous work experience as a Practice Manager/Office Manager within a law firm is required 
  • Able to process end of month financial statements (being a CA is not required but would be advantageous)
  • Client focused, keen to exceed expectations, and go above and beyond for the firm's clients
  • A leader that is able to mentor, build rapport, and trust within in a widespread team environment with ease.
  • Committed to providing efficient and effective support to a high performing firm
