Our client is a well-established Central Auckland law firm offering a partnership opportunity - salaried or equity depending on your transferable client base and level of experience & general skill set. You might have a pure corporate legal background or a broader commercial legal mix of expertise. The firm has long-standing clients that range from multi-national corporates, small-medium-sized businesses, investors, developers, and high net worth individuals.   

You'll have the experience of partners in complementary areas to ensure that your client's needs can be serviced across the board and to consult with on matters too. The firm supports its partners in business development and marketing activities, with established systems and processes in place. They are also receptive to new ideas, improving things, and promoting diversity and inclusion. 

What you need to succeed:  

• NZ Qualified & admitted Lawyer
• 10+ years of legal experience with solid experience in corporate and commercial legal work (those with a blend of commercial and property may potentially be of interest too);
• Recent NZ private practice legal experience;
• Driven to be a leader and expert in your field; 
• A strong leader who excels at building great teams and is passionate about guiding and mentoring junior lawyers.

A transferable client base isn't required, but it would be preferred if you had contacts and relationships that could be cultivated.
