This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Legal Executive who is experienced in hands-on conveyancing. Ideally, you will be systems savvy, win clients' trust quickly, and know the conveyancing process inside and out. Initially, this role will involve overseeing the maternity leave of a leading practitioner while also managing the daily operations of the office. You’ll be well supported by the Director and the administrative team. This is a busy, fast-paced practice requiring someone who works methodically and efficiently through client transactions. You will also have the opportunity to build your own client portfolio and will be encouraged to complete your Conveyancing Practitioners Certificate, with a view to potentially opening your own office in the future.

This is a comprehensive Legal Executive position that will significantly boost your career, given the scope of work and growth opportunities. Your main focus will be assisting individuals and businesses with a variety of property transactions, including residential property, small farms and lifestyle blocks, small subdivisions, and refinancing arrangements. You’ll also gain exposure to commercial work such as leases and franchise agreements.

You will ideally have:

• 7+ years of experience as a Legal Executive or Conveyancing Practitioner (registered or completed your Diploma pre-2018)
• Proven ability to run files from start to settlement, with strong knowledge of property law
• Experience with conveyancing systems such as Actionstep, Infinity, PPSR, and Webforms
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of client service
