Job description
The firm has a well established clientele of private and public sector entities, including FMCG, Telecommunication, Aviation, Energy and Financial regulation clients amongst other major corporates in other sectors. Working in a well supported team, the role would work across a wide range of competition law and regulatory advisory and litigation work related to:
About you:
- M&A and Joint venture appeals;
- Price fixing and Cartels;
- Consumer law and Fair Trading Act matters.
About you:
- 7+ years legal experience in a well regarded practice or relevant in-house legal role. You may have gained xperience in a competition law team overseas and looking to move back to NZ, or in a corporate or litigation team where you've had some exposure / experience to this area and would now like to specialise;
- Demonstrable interest in competition law and developing your career in this unique and interesting area of the law.
- An understanding of the Commerce Act and FTA
- A decent academic transcript with at least a B average or higher.
