An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Legal Executive to join a highly regarded legal practice with a strong reputation in the property and development sector. Joining an established and busy team, you will take on a key role supporting a growing portfolio of development and commercial property matters while contributing to the leadership and mentoring of junior team members.

The Role:
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex property matters while providing oversight, support and guidance to a developing team. This position offers genuine influence, autonomy and the opportunity to help shape the future growth of the practice while remaining actively involved in sophisticated development and commercial property work.

You will work across a varied portfolio of development and commercial property matters while acting as a senior member of the team, providing guidance, support and leadership to junior Legal Executives and support staff.

• Manage commercial property transactions from end to end
• Oversee land development and subdivision matters
• Mentor and support junior Legal Executives
• Liaise with developers, consultants and key stakeholders
• Assist with workflow management and team development

This role will expose you to a high quality portfolio of matters within the property and development sector. You will work closely with clients on transactions that are often complex, commercially focused and diverse in nature.

• Land development and subdivision projects
• Commercial acquisitions and disposals
• Due diligence and transaction support
• Property settlements and contract management
• Client relationship management and advice

About You:
You are an experienced Legal Executive who enjoys taking ownership of your work, building trusted relationships and being a go to person within a team. You lead by example, have strong technical capability and are motivated by the opportunity to support and develop others.

• Proven experience within property law as a senior registered Legal Executive
• Exposure to land development and subdivision work
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A collaborative and supportive leadership style
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
