Senior Employment Lawyer

Job description

The Role
An opportunity has come up for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a well-regarded employment team working with a broad range of employer clients across New Zealand and internationally. You will work closely with Directors and senior lawyers on high-quality, practical employment law matters, including:
  • Advising employers on day-to-day employment queries
  • Managing employment disputes and grievances
  • Holidays Act and parental leave advice
  • Health & Safety issues
  • Drafting and reviewing employment agreements and workplace policies
  • Advising a diverse client base including national brands, SMEs, not-for-profits, councils, and privately owned businesses

About You
We are looking for someone with 3+ years PQE who is confident advising clients independently and who takes a commercial and pragmatic approach to their work. This is a solutions-focused role suited to someone who enjoys providing clear, common-sense advice and delivering great outcomes for their clients.
