About the opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate- junior level lawyer with a demonstratable interest or experience in resource management, sustainability, environmental planning and local governmanet work to join a forward thinking organisation. 

In this role, you'll work closely with a team of senior Lawyers, who are experts in the field, on strategic and advisory work for both public and pivate sector clients. Related work would involve resource consenting and environmental planning, enforcement matters, policy and public law matters as well as infrastructure related project work.

About you
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 0-2 years' experience in a resource management and/or environment and planning role within a public or private sector context would be prefered however not essential, rather a strong demonstratable interest in Resource Management and Environomental law work is key;
  • Good understanding of the resource management legislative framework;
  • Be admitted to the bar; and
  • An interest in further developing your career as a resource management lawyer.
Perhaps you're newly qualified with some working experience looking to make the move into a Resource Management role as this is your main area of interest or you may be wanting to move into a team where you can learn from experienced specialist Lawyers in the field and have more opportunity for career progression.
