Job description

About the position

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading property team at one of our clients who works with corporates, developers, local government and high net-worth clients. The law firm is well-established and the property team works collaboratively to balance author workloads and maintain exceptional client service. Our client is looking to hire an intermediate level lawyer to join the team and continue to drive the success of the firm by acting on various property matters.

This role has a unique mix of work where you will:
  • Act for developers on subdivisions and draft property-related contracts for commercial developments;
  • Advise on commercial leasing matters including property finance and securities work, easements and acquisitions under the Public Works Act;
  • Work with private and public sector clients on commercial and residential property acquisitions and disposals, with the opportunity to provide commercial advice.
About you
  • 2-5 years' PQE property experience (you may come from a smaller or larger law firm, provided you have a good base skill set in property matters);
  • Strong problem solving and organisational skills;
  • Interpersonal skills to work in a close-knit team setting; and
  • Strong academic record.
Perhaps you're keen to take a step up in the property work you do, or you want to join a team that has a steady flow of interesting matters that you can get involved in. Find out more to see if this could be the right option for you.
