Practice Manager - Law Firm

Based in the stunning leafy suburbs that surround the CBD, this well established multi faceted law firm offers a range of legal services to private clients and small medium sized businesses. About the Role:

Reporting to the Directors of the firm, you will also be leading a team of three general accounts and the wider team of legal administrators. Working closely with the external accountant, you will be delivering financial and management reporting, along with financial modeling to help drive informed business decisions based on financial insights. Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting, working closely with the external accountant
  • Delivering financial reporting, inclusive of cashflow in preparation for the Directors meeting
  • Overseeing the team of non-fees earners in the firm, including the finance and admin teams
  • Overseeing general HR and recruitment procedures, as well as ensuring best practice is adhered to
  • Overseeing the firm's AML compliance and any projects relating to software upgrades and change management
About You:
  • Previous work experience as a Practice Manager/Office Manager within a law firm is required 
  • Able to process end of month financial statements (being a CA is not required, but would be advantageous)
  • Client focused, keen to exceed expectations, and go above and beyond for the firm's clients
  • A leader who is able to mentor, build rapport, and trust within a widespread team environment with ease.
  • Committed to providing efficient and effective support to a high performing firm
