A reputable Wellington based practice are in growth mode and are now looking for a senior level lawyer with 4+ years experience in a law firm interested in gaining substantive involvement in litigation files and growing their advocacy skills.
Working with a team of ex top tier and highly experienced partners, you will work with a decent amount of autonomy as well as with the support of partners and other seniors in the team, across a wide variety of civil and commercial litigation matters including:

Working with a team of ex top tier and highly experienced partners, you will work with a decent amount of autonomy as well as with the support of partners and other seniors in the team, across a wide variety of civil and commercial litigation matters including:
- Liquidation & insolvency matters;
- Breach of contracts and alleged breach of director duties claims;
- Supplier and Franchising disputes;
- Property disputes;
- Construction related disputes;
- Trust and Estate litigation; and
- Health and Safety and regulatory related matters, amongst other work.
About you:
- 4+ years PQE in litigation in either civil, commercial and/or construction litigation in either a specialist litigation firm or well-regarded law firm;
- Have an interest in advancing your career in a senior litigation role;
- Good academics (B average or higher in your LLB); and
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
