This really lovely team of authors are seeking someone to look after all of their finances, including both the Trust and General accounts as well as payroll. The firm prides itself on being progressive, with good use of cloud based technology with modern offices, and is looking for someone that values a progressive mindset as well. There is the potential to take on more responsibility over time and expand into a Practice Manager type position, initially, these duties will be onboarding and some staff management as well as assisting the Directors in projects and streamlining processes and systems as required. - Overseeing the trust account as well as AML compliance
- Processing all incoming and outgoing payments within the firm
- End of month reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable as well as preparing month-end
- Payroll for admin and legal teams across both locations
- Preparing end of month management reporting, inclusive of cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
- Assisting the Director with any project-based work, recruitment, staff training and development, software upgrades, and maintenance as well as any other adhoc administration
About You:
- Previous experience as a Trust Accountant or Legal Accountant would be advantageous
- Worked in Xero as well as OneLaw or similar
- Able to build internal and external relationships with ease as well as develop trust and keep confidentiality on sensitive topics.
- Be people-focused, keen to train, mentor and coach to ensure the firm is continually productive and working at its best
- Enjoy working on projects, streamlining internal processes, and creating buy-in from the wider team.

- A salary of $80,000 - $95,000 + KiwiSaver, based on experience
