Job description

Working within a professional body, your role will see you supporting and driving the initiatives of various committee members to help achieve business outcomes, contribute to the legal profession and the broader public. This role will allow you to work 2 days a week from home and flexibly.

This role is multi-faceted. You will be involved in:
  • Running a content calendar, in conjunction with other team members, around continuing professional development
  • Curating policies around CPD in the legal sector
  • Guiding and promoting CPD topics to presenters / potential presenters for webinars and seminars, with the ability to influence as required
  • Co-ordinating and engaging with committee members for idea generation and implementing the ideas with a series of planning meetings
  • staying abreast of legislative and other developments that affect the legal profession
  • stakeholder management
About you:
  • 3+ years PQE. Ideally you'll be NZ qualified and have practiced law in NZ but a foreign qualified lawyer may be considered if they have working experience in the NZ legal sector;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to think strategically and commercially to understand the organisations goals and help achieve best outcomes;
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities at any given time.
