This is an opportunity to join a thriving medium-sized practice that represents a multi-generational client base including high net worth individuals and business owners. This is a role where you can work with a good level of autonomy in supporting partners and authors on a variety of client's personal affairs as it relates to wills, elder law and powers of attorney.

About the Role
Working in this cohesive team you will be able to take full ownership of the client portfolio. You will be responsible for meeting clients and running each file from end to end. On a day to day your duties will include:
  • Preparing and advising on wills, estate planning and administration, elder law and power of attorney matters
  • Dealing with executors and beneficiaries of estates
  • Preparing and advising on Power of Attorney documents, occupation right agreements and related private client and elder law work
  • Preparing and submitting applications to High Court for probate and letters of administration on intestacy
  • Work towards reasonable daily billable hours and monthly targets as agreed with the Partner  
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 
  • 3+ years' Legal Executive experience ideally you would be registered however we would also consider unregistered Legal Executives or Senior Legal Secretaries that are studying towards their LE Diploma
  • An ability to communicate well and build rapport with a range of private clients from different backgrounds and ages; and
  • Sound drafting skills and the ability to provide advice in a clear and concise manner.
