Our client is a highly regarded full service law firm with a strong reputation in the Auckland market. Recognised for the quality of its work and long standing client relationships, the firm continues to experience steady growth within its property practice and is now looking to appoint an experienced Legal Executive to support a busy and highly successful Commercial Property Partner.
This is an opportunity to join a practice that acts on a diverse range of commercial property matters, developments and large scale transactions. Working closely with an established author, you will become a key member of the team, gaining exposure to sophisticated property work while being trusted to take ownership of matters and drive transactions forward.
The Role:
This role supports a busy commercial property practice and therefore you will be working closely with an experienced Partner and wider property team on a broad range of property transactions. You will be involved in matters from inception through to settlement and will play a key role in ensuring files are managed efficiently and clients receive exceptional service. You will be joining a high performing and collaborative team environment where attention to detail, commercial acumen and client service are highly valued.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to:
- Manage commercial property and conveyancing files from commencement through to settlement
- Assist with large scale development projects and subdivision matters
- Draft a range of agreements and property related documentation
- Coordinate settlements and post settlement requirements
- Liaise with clients, banks, surveyors, developers and external stakeholders
- Assist with project management of complex property transactions
- Maintain file progression, key dates and client communication throughout matters
- Support the Partner and wider team as required

Ideally, you will bring:
- 3+ years' experience as a registered Legal Executive
- Strong experience in commercial property transactions
- Exposure to developments, subdivisions or complex settlements is essential
- Confidence managing files with a high degree of autonomy
- Exceptional organisational and matter management skills
