The Role:
This is a senior level position suited to an experienced Legal Executive who enjoys managing sophisticated commercial transactions and building trusted client relationships. You'll work closely with lawyers, clients, lenders, and professional advisors while taking ownership of a diverse portfolio of matters.

• Managing business and share sale and purchase transactions from instruction through to settlement.
• Advising on franchising matters, including franchise sales, acquisitions, and documentation.
• Handling commercial lending and finance transactions, including securities and associated documentation.
• Assisting with company restructures, shareholder arrangements, and corporate reorganisations.
• Maintaining direct client relationships and coordinating with key stakeholders throughout transactions.

About You:
You are a Registered Legal Executive with solid experience in commercial and corporate matters and the confidence to manage files with a high degree of autonomy. You enjoy working closely with clients and have developed strong technical capability across a broad range of transactional work.

• Registered Legal Executive status in New Zealand.
• A minimum of 3+ years' experience in commercial and corporate legal practice.
• Proven experience with business sales and purchases and commercial transactions.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Banking and finance experience, which will be highly advantageous.
