This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial / regulatory lawyer to join a leading full service firm. You will play a key role in supporting the firm's legal compliance, risk and governance framework across a broad range of matters. This a role that sits at the cross-section of legal, compliance, technology and operational business matters with the opportunity to work closely with a variety of teams across the firm, and influence stakeholder outcomes.

You will be involved in a diverse range of matters, including client onboarding and engagement, conflict checks, AML/CFT, governance, cyber, data protection, business continuity and the responsible use of legal technology and AI.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

• 5+ years PQE, ideally with a Corporate/Commercial background (in-house within a highly regulated business or a law firm environment);
• Commercially minded, with the ability to provide pragmatic advice and solutions in complex legal and risk environments;
• Organised with good attention to detail;
• A confident communicator and ability to instil trust and confidence with stakeholders;
• Interested in the impact of emerging technology, particularly AI, on legal practice, compliance and risk;
• Comfortable designing and delivering training or facilitating workshops;
• Someone who brings a high level of integrity, professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
