Job description

Working within a professional body, your role will see you supporting and driving the initiatives of different committee members to help achieve business outcomes, contribute to the legal profession and the broader public. This role will allow you to work 2 days a week from home and flexibly.

This role is multi-faceted. You will be involved in:
  • project management for initiatives within the organisation
  • co-ordinating and engaging with committee members with regular meetings and reporting, including minutes and follow ups
  • staying abreast of legislative developments that affect the legal profession
  • curation of articles and content for publication
  • stakeholder management, providing advice and making recommendations internally within the organisation
About you:
  • 3+ years PQE (ideally in NZ, but a foreign qualified lawyer will be considered also if you have NZ working experience or exp in a relevant role).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and commercially to understand the organisations goals and help achieve best outcomes
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
