About the role

An exciting opportunity has come up for an junior level family lawyer to join our client's growing family law team. The firm has an established client base that provides a steady flow of files to work on end to end. The seniors encourage a culture that is welcoming, approachable and supportive allowing you to develop your skills quickly and progress internally at the firm.
The firm provides a car park and an achievable bonus scheme. 

You'd be working mainly on legally aided files that relate to care of child matters, parenting and protection orders, family violence, relationship property and other complex family law matters. You'll get to help every day individuals navigate the legal system and make a direct impact to their personal care and welfare.  
 
About you

• 1-2 years law clerking / Solicitor experience in family law gained in either a specialist family law team, barristerial environment or general practice team. 
• Good interpersonal skills, empathetic and a self starter that is keen to learn and grow; and
• An interest to develop your skills further in the family law field. 

You may be in a practice seeking better mentorship, or keen to move into a family law role working alongside others that are passionate about the field and can help you hone your advocacy skills.

NOTE: This is not a graduate role and you must be admitted to the bar with existing family law experience to apply.
