Our client has a well-established national practice that does a mixture of commercial contracting work for major projects as well as resolving construction issues. Now they are interested to hire a 2+ years PQE level lawyer that would be keen to utilise their commercial legal experience in the area of construction contracts, funding agreements, large-scale infrastructure projects, procurement agreements, consultancy agreements, joint venture arrangements and helping negotiate great outcomes for its clients. The team is led by partners that are experts in the field and you'd work with clients that range from blue chip investors, leading corporate clients and energy companies, to name a few.
 
The team operate with a flat structure, so you'd get client contact early on and solid hands on responsibility and mentorship.

About you:

• 2+ years solid PQE in commercial legal work and with some exposure to construction and infrastructure related matters (those that have gained relevant in-house experience or have a corporate legal background would be of interest too);
• Commercial awareness and the ability to advise strategically;
• Experience gained in a reputable firm and/or organisation; and
• NZ qualified lawyer.
