About the Role:
Supporting a small team of Corporate solicitors, you will be based in a team that is client driven and runs at a fast pace to ensure they exceed expectations and deliver quality outcomes. You will be liaising with clients and assisting with their queries. This is a varied and interesting role where you will manage multiple tasks at any one time. Your day to day duties will include but are not limited to:
- Word processing, drafting letters and documents as well as transcribing digital dictation
- Diary management for the Partners, organising evening functions, industry events, and seminars
- Administration, filing, and database management as well as assisting with documentation
- Assisting authors with the end of month accounts and billing, as well as any other ad hoc office duties and administration
- Previous experience within a law firm is advantageous for this role and ideally, having a background in either financial services or corporate/commercial matters would be beneficial
- Advanced typing skills, this role includes dictation, and therefore a typing speed of 50wpm minimum is required
- Organised, methodical, and systematic in your approach to your work as you will be managing the Partners diary as well as managing multiple conflicting deadlines at any one time
- Good IT skills, proficient in PowerPoint and the wider Microsoft Suite
- Team and client focused, willing to exceed expectations, and be proactive
- A great communicator, able to build relationships with ease on a professional level with an open and personable demeanor
