Our client has a growing Corporate team and has a position for a junior-intermediate level lawyer in its Auckland city based team. You'll work in a team led by a few corporate partners and a mix of lawyers at different levels in the team, doing top quality M&A work, advising on joint venture arrangements, management buy-out arrangements, corporate structuring and providing strategic advice to growing businesses (e.g. capital raising, seed funding) as well as some general commercial work. There will be varied work with NZX listed companies, multi-nationals to investors and growing businesses going through expansion.

You will be someone that has:  

• 2+ years experience in a transactional legal role with some exposure to corporate and commercial legal matters;
• A B average or higher in your LLB; and
• Passionate about further developing a career in the corporate/commercial law field demonstrating a level of commercial acumen; and
• Sound relationship building and communication skills.
