Job description

Our Client

A family friendly and longstanding city-based law firm that work with clients that range from private developers, high net worth individuals and businesses of various sizes. They are looking to hire a senior-level lawyer due to growth and succession planning at the firm. The ideal candidate would have at least 7 years PQE with existing private practice experience in a couple of relevant areas. This role could be shaped towards your areas of interest, so it's not required you have experience in all areas. There is the possibility of some flexibility in hours if required.

About you:
  • 7+ years' PQE with experience across two of three core areas (property, commercial or trusts / private client);
  • Good client relationship and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience gained in a well-regarded firm;
  • Practical skills that are just as good as your technical legal skills; and
  • NZ qualified lawyer;
  • A transferable client base is not needed but the firm can support you in business development activities.
If you're looking to join a firm you can see yourself growing with, give us a call. Whatever your motivation, we'd be interested to hear from you.
