The Opportunity: 

With strong networks nationally, the firm has a long standing presence and established clientele within it's area's of specialty. They now have an exciting opportunity for a junior to intermediate level Lawyer with at least 2 years experience within the areas of banking & finance work (whether as part of your overall experience and either gained in-house or in private practice) to join its close knit team. Corporate lawyers with an interest to move into this space, could be of interest too. 

Here you'd work with experienced senior lawyers on a mix of banking and finance and transactional work. Day to day you'd work with leading financial institutions, fund managers, developers, investors and corporates on transactions involving property financing, corporate financing, mezzanine lending, construction based lending and the like.

You'll be working with a top clientele and be at the forefront of advising clients through  regulatory changes and other commercial related matters affecting the banking deals they're involved in.

About you: 

• 2+ years PQE experience gained in a law firm within B&F or Corporate / Commercial law experience or banking transactional experience gained in-house;
• Keen to develop your banking and finance legal career;
• Good academics (B average or higher in your LLB is key); and
• A Commerce degree would be a bonus.
