The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to learn recruitment properly, from the ground up, alongside high performers who genuinely know what good looks like.

As an Associate Consultant, you’ll work as a candidatere sourcer supporting our Consultants who run full 360 desks.You’ll own the candidate generation engine: identifying, approaching, and engaging legal talent across the market, building shortlists, and developing the market intelligence that underpins every successful placement we make. You won’t be doing this in isolation, you’ll be in direct proximity to senior consultants every day, absorbing best practice as it happens.

Over time, you’ll build three things that are hard to acquire anywhere else: a highly tuned candidate generation skillset, deep market IQ, and the technical legal knowledge a recruiter needs to operate credibly in this sector. Those are the foundations. The pathway from here is to graduate into a full 360 Consultant role of your own.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sourcing and generating candidates across the legal market through proactive search, networking, and headhunting

• Building and maintaining strong talent pools and accurate market mapping

• Screening candidates and preparing quality shortlists for Consultants

• Developing genuine technical understanding of legal practice areas and what clients are really hiring for

• Building relationships with candidates and supporting them through process

• Learning the full recruitment lifecycle with a view to running your own desk

• An extroverted, energetic communicator who genuinely enjoys talking to people and building rapport quickly

• A strong internal sales motor - you’re driven, persuasive, and motivated to chase down the right outcome

• Sharp attention to detail - accuracy matters enormously in what we do

• Intellectual curiosity about the legal sector - you’re drawn to a field that rewards technical knowledge and you want to understand it deeply

• A resilient, proactive mindset and the work ethic to match the standard of the team around you
