Harri’s career started at Investec Bank - a global banking and wealth management group. He headed up the banking product sales and client service teams for clients in the UK, South Africa, Mauritius and Australia. After climbing the corporate ladder for six years, Harri was keen to shift his career towards something that had elements of sales, coaching, marketing and entrepreneurship - recruitment seemed a natural fit. As his wife was working in legal recruitment at the time, he was well placed to make the leap into legal recruitment as well. In 2016, he joined a specialist legal recruitment agency in Johannesburg that recruited for top-tier and boutique law firms and listed companies in South Africa, as well as helping to staff global law firms entering the South African market.

After four years in legal recruitment in South Africa, Harri moved permanently to NZ just before the COVID pandemic hit, and has been working at CoLegal's predecessor business since. At CoLegal, Harri specialises in legal professional roles within private practice, in-house legal and compliance opportunities. Having had the benefit of recruiting for the legal sector through such turbulent times, he's already seen the NZ legal market at various phases of the cycle and is well positioned to advise the clients he works with.

Harri holds a BCom majoring in Economics and IT.

On the weekend, you’ll either catch Harri doing calisthenics at Mission Bay’s outdoor gym, spending time with family and friends on one of the beaches in Auckland or reading a book on advances in space exploration. Harri used to DJ at weddings and events on the side and he may just bring out the turntables in New Zealand when you least expect it.
